Move your body and feel better with me.

I’m a San Francisco-based teacher with a fun, modern approach to movement. My classes blend yoga, Pilates, dance, barre, and strength training into something uniquely my own—a space for exploration, joy, and self-connection.

As a student and teacher of nonviolent communication, and someone deeply influenced by trauma-informed yoga, I prioritize creating a safe and empowering environment. My goal is for you to feel free, have fun, and discover a soft place to land within yourself. Let’s move together in ways that challenge, delight, and bring you home to your body.

A note to you:

I have a bad habit of putting many things into the “I’ll be happy when” pile. I hate being told what to do. I don’t believe we ever arrive in the holy land of fully “healed.” I still struggle with loving myself and feeling confident. I practice and teach nonviolent communication and then yell at my partner and kids.

Why would I tell you this? Because it’s the truth. And, I don’t enjoy the power dynamics in a teacher/student relationship. I want you to know that I’ll never tell you what to do or assume I know what’s best. I’m right beside you, working on what it means to be diagnosed with the human condition and accept it.

What helps me the most is keeping a sense of humor, and moving my body to good music with lots of freedom to explore how I want to take care of myself. That’s the heart of Living Room Yoga. It’s not about striving to become someone else or rejecting the parts of yourself that feel imperfect. It’s about letting go of opposition—stepping away from the endless chase to “fix” or “improve”—and discovering how to truly be at home in your body and your life, just as you are.
